A few days ago, singer Frank Ocean announced the launch of his own brand, which got the title Homer. And so it got the physical space: the store was opened on August 9th and is located in the building of the New York jewelry exchange.
The shop was designed by architects and co-founders of the Any design studio, Michael Abel and Nile Greenberg. In the interior, they used futuristic aluminum and multi-colored plastic.
The first collection includes scarves made of silk, along with 18K gold jewelry and recycled silver, hand-painted enamel, and laboratory-grown diamonds. All the pieces of jewelry are presented in collaboration with Prada and displayed in transparent glass cases. The line is showcased in a stylized catalog made by the American musician himself. The catalog can be viewed on the brand’s website.
The products of the luxury brand are designed in New York and handcrafted in Italy. The musician was inspired by his childhood hobbies and legacy fantasies. According to Ocean, he worked on the creation of the collection for three years.
