The team from San Francisco Giants will officially be the first baseball team that will be dressed in Pride clothes while playing. And the money, raised from tickets to the game of Giants vs. Chicago Cubs that arrives on Saturday, will be donated to support the San Francisco Pride organization. The Giants will appear on the field on June 5 dressed in Pride Month colors and will be the first MLB team dressed in uniforms with Pride colors.
The organization shared the news on Tuesday, saying that players will wear a special Pride patch designed on the right sleeve of their home T-shirt and a custom hat that features Pride colors in the original logo of SF.
To this occasion, the Giants have presented Pride hats and T-shirts that fans can buy. Continuing the celebration of Pride Month, the Giants will also organize Pride Movie Night. The event will take place in Oracle Park starting from 11th to 12th of June. The organizers are very proud to support the LGBTQ community.
