Following the example of Nike, VF Corporation also started firing employees who have no vaccines. The parent company of such brands as Vans, Supreme, Timberland, and The North Face will notify its workers about the termination without severance starting from these weekends.

However, in October, the employees who work at the company got an email with a warning to be vaccinated against the COVID-19 disease by January 31, 2022.

For example, last month, around 30 people who work at the Vans that is located in California took part in a protest of the call for vaccination. The workers left their shoes designed by Vans and handwritten notes sharing their thoughts.

The condition currently only concerns VF Corp’s employees from the US. And it is at the moment unknown if retail workers will also be affected.
